Company History

Ajaxx Apparel was founded by Olanda and his late wife of 30 years Tara Ridley in 1996.  Olanda is a native of Newport News, Virginia and Tara was a native of Smithfield, Virginia.  How was the name Ajaxx derived?  As a youth Olanda was a freshly dressed break dancer in the projects which inspired his friends to nickname him Ajaxx.  Olanda and team Ajaxx are a group of dream builders and thinkers.   

In June 2021 team Ajaxx, the Ridley family and Olanda lost his wife of 30 years Tara Ridley.  Tara was a driving force behind the Olanda and team Ajaxx for many years.  Although Tara is not physical present, her spirt lives on through her two sons and Ajaxx Apparel.  
Tara has inspired our team to keep promoting positive vibrations through uplifting designs placed on a variety of merchandise.
